I have been passionate about learning and teaching Spanish since high school. For the past eight years, I have been a Spanish tutor for students from 8th grade - college, alongside five years of classroom teaching experience. I hold a BA with High Honors from Swarthmore College, where I studied Spanish and Latin American Studies. I have lived and studied in both Toledo, Spain and Montevideo, Uruguay, where I was enrolled in La Universidad Católica.

My goal is for students to find Spanish class less frustrating and more interesting, and to move them toward a new level of understanding. I also take the time to understand classroom teachers’ expectations, and to work with students to ensure they are meeting those expectations in order to earn the highest grade possible.
